NCO & Officers' Training Guide

Remember. This is simply a guide, trainers do not have to follow this word-by-word, but they must include each and every piece of important information that is going to help them do their job.

Topic 1: INTRODUCTION

> First of all, no one speaks, moves or does ANYTHING to disturb others.
> When i say ‘Understand’ you reply ‘YES SIR’ or ‘no sir’
> If you have a question during training after I say ‘understand’ you say ‘YES SIR Question Sir!’
> Right, to start off, this army is a well disciplined force that does not take kindly to disobedience and disrespect.
> if you don’t like insults and criticism and a lot of shouting then now’s the time to leave.
> NEVER ask for promotions, rights or pay.

Topic 2: RESPECTING OFFICERS

> Officer’s are high ranks, basically in charge of the room, the higher their rank the more authority they have (check rank sticky’s in HQ for more info)
> High ranking Officers will no doubt have rights.
> Their job is to take command of the room and soldiers within.
> If you are unsure what ranks are ‘officer ranks’ then you can tell if they are by their weapon which is be an ’l9a1’ no other soldier will have these.
> You will refer to officers as Sir (male) or Ma'am (female).
> You must Salute an Officer when they enter a room or if you’re standing next to them to speak or take commands.
> To speak to an officer you will stand up and shout ‘permission to speak sir/ma’am?’

> Officers are Different from NCOs
> This stands for Non-Commissioned Officer.
> NCO do not have rights
> Their job is train and discipline Recruits and Privates and all those below their rank.
> NCOs are the liaisons between officers and soldiers because they will be given orders by officers to pass down to soldiers (chain of command)
> You will not refer to NCO as Sir or Ma’am, only by their rank, Eg. Sergeant, Corporal
> Do not Salute an NCO
> NCOs will be taught to take drill.

> Warrant Officers are between NCOs and Officers
> You do not salute Warrant Officers
> You Do Call Them Sir Or Ma’am
> Their will usually only be one Warrant officer in the regiment who will be the ultimate liaisons between the officers and NCOs and privates etc.
> ‘Understand?’

Do you have any questions about ranks?

TOPIC 3: SALUTING

> Next is Saluting, this is a way to respect officers when they enter the room or when speaking to one.
At this point tell them not to do anything at all.

> All you do, is wave once (and stand if sitting)
Do an example of the Salute. Stand up and wave
> You Salute for them if they enter the room either by door or teleported, To do this you stand up and wave and then sit back down to continue your duties.

> If you are speaking with an Officer and you are 1sq apart then you 'Salute' BEFORE the conversation/promotion and 'Salute' AFTER.

> Do not salute officers when: You are sitting
The officer is sitting
You are not standing next to the officer*
*Doesn’t include the salute to an officer when he or she enters room

> ‘Understand?’

TOPIC 4: DOOR GUARDING

> Don’t stand in the door, stand one step back.
> when letting someone in sit on the chair next to you to allow quick access and quick security.
> Look CAREFULLY at little DETAILS in uniforms and mottos to people getting in, 90% of people trying to join will have incorrect kit.
> If someone blocks door attempting to get in, first thing you do is tell them to ‘sit down’ then to change uniform.
> Be AUTHORITIVE when guarding, show you’re in command, so shout and speak in cap locks: ‘SIT DOWN’
> if they are stubborn and refuse to move warn them that they will be kicked and then count down from 5 to 1 and someone with rights will kick if they have not moved. (If no one does just ask one to kick)
> When people enter tell them how to join ‘Read Yellow Sticky To Join’
> When officers wish to pass salute them, then sit down.
> Their are two doors for maximum security, if the first door guard lets someone in with wrong uniform or motto, then second door guard will check uniform and motto still despite already being let in and make sure there are no mistakes.

Topic 5: PROFESSIONS/FINISH

> This regiment has different Professions, to view these read the blue stickies on the wall. Their is a special profession on the green sticky which you can apply to at a later date when you become more experienced.

> Read the Blue Stickies and only the blue stickies, change to you desired profession and there requirements. Once completed return back to HQ, Make sure their exactly how the sticky describes.
Return back to the HQ and See which one's come back with correct motto's and uniform. Adjust them if need be.

Note: If you have any questions about this training guide or notice any mistakes, please contact Siddy121 or any Officer members
